Wang suggested that China and Chile should strengthen strategic coordination. The two can collaborate on multilateral affairs and support each other in core issues. They can build and maintain the Belt and Road together, and promote trade and investment cooperation.

Allamand, for his part, stressed that Chile will remain a solid strategic partner to China. It will continue to adhere to the one-China policy. As China agreed to communicate with Chile to join the CPTPP, Allamand stated that Chile supports China joining the CPTPP.
