Wang highlighted that the statement of the US NSA proved that the US policy of non-interference in the Indo-Pacific is nothing but a disguise. He stated that the US is speaking something and doing the opposite of it on the Taiwanese issue. China firmly rejects the actions of the United States, he added.
China wants peaceful reunification of Taiwan
The Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson stressed that China is sincere with its peaceful commitment to reunification of Taiwan. But some people are trying to use the Taiwan issue to contain China and to disrupt the peace of the region. China will firmly deal with the Taiwan separatists and external interference in the Taiwanese issue. China will defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity at any cost, added the spokesperson.
Wang urged the United States to abide by its commitment to the One-China policy. He said that the US should also respect the three China-US Joint Communiques. He also highlighted the Chinese concerns over the US exports of arms to the Taiwanese separatists. No can stop China from its reunification, he added.
The world respects the One-China Principle. China has also urged the United States, again and again, to stay committed to the One-China policy. China is looking forward to reunifying China as soon as possible.
