Canadian Nate Riech Breaks World Record and Bags Gold in Paralympics

Tokyo, 04 September 2021 (TDI):  Nate Riech from Canada snatched a gold medal and set his own world record in 1500 meters in the Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympics.

Nate Reich set a world record of 3:47.89 minutes in the game. Earlier in 2018, during his first Paralympic race, he broke world records both in 800m and 1500m.

Canada has hit the medal mark of 21 including 5 gold, 10 silver, and 6 bronze medals in the Summer Paralympics in Tokyo.
