Langfang/Qinhuangdao, 18 September 2021 (TDI): The Belt and Road and the Great Wall International Folk Culture and Arts Festival 2021 started in Langfang and Qinhuangdao, on 15 September 2021 and ended on 17 September 2021. The festival took place in series of performances and exhibitions. For this purpose, famous artists were invited from different member states of Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

The displays at the exhibitions included traditional items, artworks, and folk art. The participant BRI countries included Russia, Hungary, Egypt, Spain, and Italy.

At the event, Chinese artists performed their traditional drum dance in front of a large number of people, which was appreciated by the audience. The audience was also entertained by foreign artist folk cultural dance performances. Moreover, the different online and offline exhibitions or seminars were organized by the head of Ennova culture.

The purpose of the festival was to promote and exchange culture among the BRI countries. Co-organizer of Ennova culture Li Xiaofei said that due to the pandemic situation many artists were unable to be a part of the festival, but they are also trying to bring artists into the global cultural exchange.
