Bangladesh’s Ambassador signs agreement with Lumbini Development Trust

Dhaka, 8 October 2021 (TDI): The Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal, Salahuddin Nouman Chowdhary signed an agreement with the Vice-Chairman of the Lumbini Development Trust, Venerable Metteyya Sakyaputta.

The agreement is signed to build a monastery, the birthplace of Lord Buddha in Nepal. All the finances regarding the monastery would be paid by the government of Bangladesh. The ceremony took place at Lumbini Trust Headquarters on Friday Afternoon.

The plot for the construction of a monastery is allotted by the Lamborghini Development Trust. The Project Chief, Saroj Bhattarai from the Lumbini Trust, and first Secretary, Alamgir Islam Khan, also attended the signing ceremony.
