Bangladesh Representative to UN talks about Covid-19 Vaccines

New York, 7 October 2021 (TDI): The Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the UN, Rabab Fatima asked the International community to guarantee universal access to Covid-19 vaccines. She addressed this issue during the 76th Session of the UNGA at the General Assembly Hall on Wednesday, October 6.

The Representative highlighted the need to provide access to vaccines to all the states in order to recover better. She stated that universal access would help the global community to achieve the 2030 agenda rapidly.

Ambassador Fatima accentuated to speed up to accomplish desired results during the forthcoming Climate and Biodiversity COPs. She added that as the President of the 48-member Climate Forum, Bangladesh will participate for many causes. For restricting global temperature rise, upgrading finance for climate issues, working with innovation transfer, etc.
