Bahrain Foreign Ministry Chief of Human Right Affairs Attends Arab Meeting.

Cairo, 1st September 2021 (TDI): The meeting of the Permanent Arab Commission for Human Rights was held from 30-31 August. The meeting took place in the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of the Arab States located in Cairo.

Dr. Arwa Hassan Alsayed, Foreign Ministry Chief of Human Rights Affairs was also part of the meeting. Dr. Haifa Abu Ghazaleh Arab League Assistant Secretary-General greeted the meeting on the behalf of Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.

The main agenda of the meeting was to strategic a plan in the presence of member states of LAS. The policy that can help promote basic human rights.

To achieve the desired results, Arab strategy for Human Rights Draft was presented. The meeting counterparts also deliberated the exceptional progress of the Arab Charter (ACHR).

The meeting ended with the recommendations on the issue presses. The experts in the meeting assure the follow-up of the recommendations. They also guarantee the implementation of the discussed strategy with proficient authorities.
