Trade relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan have developed over the years, with both sides working to facilitate increased trade relations, investment, and energy cooperation.

The oil and gas reserves of Azerbaijan give Pakistan an opportunity to diversify its energy imports; in turn, Azerbaijan provides a market for Pakistani products in textiles and pharmaceuticals.

They plan together to improve connectivity via regional trade corridors for economic integration.

Cooperation in defense remains a vital pillar of their relations, with regular exchanges in the military, joint training exercises, and collaboration in defense production.

The cultural and people-to-people contacts are increasing through academic programs and tourism initiatives.
