Belgrade, 13 October 2021 (TDI): Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister of Commerce and Industry of Somalia, colleagues from Cameroon, Iraq, Uganda, and Palestine on the 60th Anniversary Event of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Belgrade.

On the sidelines of the 60th NAM, all officials discussed their respective roles. They talked about the importance of multilateral diplomacy that contributes towards global peace. The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan states that bilateral agendas between different parties were also discussed. That included ways to promote cooperation along with issues of regional and international mutual interest.
The Non-Aligned Movement grew to include over 120 nations. That includes states like Yugoslavia, Kenya, Congo, etc. It keeps the countries’ economic and political issues from worsening. With its focused efforts for global peace, justice, and solidarity, the NAM has played an essential role in the international arena.
