Baku, 12 October 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan sends felicitations to the Kingdom of Spain on their National Day.
This is a positive gesture shown by Azerbaijan. They wish Spain prosperity and best wishes for the future. Both parties want to remain confident that mutually beneficial collaboration between the two countries will flourish in the future. Hence, such gestures encourage good diplomatic ties from both parties.
Since February 11, 1992, when Azerbaijan gained independence following the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Spain has maintained diplomatic ties with the country. Azerbaijan established an embassy in Madrid towards the end of 2005. Azerbaijan and Spain cooperate in the political, economic, cultural, tourism, humanitarian, and sports fields, among others.
Both states support and respect each other’s territorial integrity, sovereignty, and inviolability of internationally recognized borders. Which has been guided by the norms and principles of international law.
