Canberra, 19 October 2021 (TDI): Senator Marise Payne, the Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Minister for Women declared Australia’s focus on women’s empowerment. The country supports better outcomes including through G20.
The Australian Government is working with businesses and G20 Empower partners. The objective is to ascertain effective ways to enhance women’s empowerment. It aims to facilitate women to lead at workplaces, principally in the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic.
G20 Empower has launched its best practice playbook. It has brought together 150 practical ideas from businesses from 23 countries.
In a tweet, Marise Payne, thanked the Australian representative, Christine McLoughlin for her role. Christine McLoughlin is the director of Suncorp Group, which is a finance, insurance, and, banking corporation.

The Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs attended a virtual G20 Conference on Women’s Empowerment, in august. She believes that the economic security, safety and inclusion of women in decision-making are fundamental.
