Jakarta, 18 November 2021 (TDI): Australia has sent another batch of 1.2 million vaccines to Indonesia. The doses of vaccine arrived in Jakarta on 17 November 2021, along with the other medical equipment.
Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne in a tweet announced the vaccine donation to Indonesia.

✅20,000+ rapid antigen test kits
✅1000 ventilators
✅700 oxygen concentrators

She noted that, with this lot to reach Jakarta, the total sum of Australian vaccine doses supply reaches 4.6 million. The Minister also affirmed that more vaccine support from Australia will be provided to Jakarta in the future.
The vaccine lot also includes medical equipment along with the covid 19 vaccine doses to Indonesia. Indonesia has received 20,000 plus rapid antigen test kits and 1000 ventilators in the lot.
Additionally, Australia also included 700 oxygen concentrators and 175 oxygen cylinders in its support to Pacific neighbor.
Earlier on 12 November, Australia has provided 1.2 million vaccine doses to Indonesia. Australian vaccine support is part of a pledge to share 10 million doses to Indonesia.
Marise Payne’s visit to Indonesia
Earlier in the last week, Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne visited Indonesia to conduct meetings with Pacific countries dignitaries on 10 November. While the Indonesian Foreign Minister welcomed her friend back in Jakarta.
The Foreign Minister met with her Indonesian counterpart Menteri Luar Negeri in Jakarta. Marise also congratulated Indonesia for overtaking the Chair of the G20.
The matters like Covid 19 recovery efforts were discussed in the meeting on the Counterpart level.
Moreover, Minister Marise paid gratitude to Foreign Minister on behalf of her country over Indonesia’s support of the ASEAN-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
The two countries enjoy friendly relations. The two countries aim to strengthen their relationship by enhancing cooperation. The two countries have also signed Indonesia–Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA) which has strengthened their bilateral relations.
