Asian Development Bank response to Pakistan’s Economy

In the same tweets, they have shared the welcoming remarks by the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Farrukh Habib. Farrukh Habib has welcomed the ADB forecast on the growth of the economy. In a series of tweets, he said that “the report published by the ADB explained social protection initiatives, growing exports, amazing performance of the manufacturing department and other institutional reforms are ways to include sustainable economic growth”. He further mentioned that the strategy that Pakistan’s government has adopted during the COVID-19 pandemic and its different waves is acknowledged by the Asian Development Bank.

Farukh Habib also said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has adopted the best policy to counter coronavirus while saving lives and livelihoods at the same time. He further added that Imran Khan has opted for the best policy for the citizens despite the opposition who has been calling for a complete countrywide lockdown from the start of the pandemic.
