Argentinian Visa for Pakistani Citizens

If you are considering a visit to Argentina from Pakistan, you must obtain an Argentinian visa for your Pakistani passports.

Travelers require a visa to enter Argentina for business or tourism purposes. The sole visa option for tourists to Argentina is a paper or embassy visa.

The visa is generally a stamp or sticker affixed to the passport. Travelers must procure this visa from a local embassy, consulate, or visa center prior to their journey.

How to Apply for a Visa from Pakistan:

If you have all the necessary paperwork and have completed the visa application form, applying for an Argentina visa in Pakistan is typically simple. Before visiting the Argentinean embassy in Islamabad, please review the documents below.

According to the Embassy of Pakistan, Argentine Republic, the following are the documents necessary for the Tourist Visa if you are applying.

Documents to Present:

• One set of Visa Application Form (Original), dated and signed by the applicant (preferably filled out by computer). All questions must be answered.
• Sworn Statement dated & signed.
• Photocopy (on A4 paper only) of Valid Passport (first & second page), including Valid & Expired Visas and all stamped pages.
• Two colored photographs must be 4X4CM with a white background.
• This is a personal bank statement for the last six months certified by the bank (with the name stamp of the bank officer).
• Round Trip Flight Itinerary: A Ticket, E-Ticket, or Flight booking for Argentina and the Tourist itinerary in Argentina are required. The Itinerary—flight, train, or bus tickets—within Argentina is also required.
• Hotel Booking or accommodation arrangements (must correspond with Visa Application Form & Flight) Must be SECURE HOTEL BOOKING with a credit card.
• A Visa Request Letter containing applicant’sthe detailed personal information, passport details, and trip plan duly signed by the applicant.
• If you are visiting family members or friends (Argentineans), you need to present an original invitation letter from them and a copy of their Argentine ID (DNI). The letter must be CERTIFIED by an Argentine Public Notary and also by the “Colegio de Escribanos” (the Public Notaries’ Association). The inviter can use the TAD (Tramites a distancia) platform for online invitations. If you are staying with them, you do not need to book a hotel.
• Letter from current employer (if any) in Pakistan or elsewhere, containing applicant’s designation and providing last 03 months’ Pay/Salary slips.
• International Health Insurancecovers COVID–19 treatments during stays in Argentina.
• A Tourist Visa can be applied for at any Argentine Embassy or Consulate. It is not mandatory to apply for a Tourist Visa at the place of residence.
• Tourist Visa processing fee – 150 USD (non-refundable).

Business Visa Application Requirements for a Argentina Visa:

A visa is not required for this destination for a stay of up to 90 days. Please keep in mind that while a visa is not required, you must:

  • Hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond your date of country exit and with one blank visa page
  • Hold proof of onward and return flights
  • Hold all documents required for the next destination
  • Hold documents showing proof of travel purpose (e.g. business cover or support letter, conference registrations, etc.)
  • Hold proof of sufficient funds relative to your intended length of stay
  • It is recommended that you confirm with your airline that boarding will be permitted without a visa

Please be aware that before you visit the embassy, you must send the completed visa application and all of your supporting documentation to consular_epaki@mrecic.gov.ar.

Applying for a visa does not require an appointment. The necessary paperwork is comparable to that needed for a Pakistani Schengen visa application.

Time Duration of the Visa:

The visa process may take up to one month to complete. Nevertheless, the embassy lacks a precise date. If the visa officer is satisfied with your documentation and interview responses, a visa can be obtained within one week.
