Karachi (TDI): The Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP), in collaboration with Superior University, Lahore, held a two-day “Summit for Entrepreneurial Educators” at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM), Karachi, according to a press release.
The summit was attended by the senior educators from public and private universities of Sindh.
“The summit focused on redefining entrepreneurship education in Pakistan by equipping educators with skills and an entrepreneurial mindset so they may develop students into proactive leaders to contribute to an economically Superior Pakistan,” it said.

The two-day summit was divided into four sessions, led by a certified team of entrepreneurial educators from Superior University, trained at Babson College, USA, which is internationally acclaimed as a leading institution in entrepreneurship.
On the occasion, Superior University Rector, Professor Dr. Sumaira Rehman briefed the participants on the “Superior Entrepreneurship Education Model (SEEM)”.
“We use the same framework at Superior University to develop students’ entrepreneurial mindset and skills,” she was quoted as saying.
According to the handout, other Superior University leaders, including, Dean Faculty of Business & Management Sciences, Dr. Sami Ullah Bajwa; Director, Chaudhry Abdul Khaliq Center for Contemporary Islamic Sciences (CAKCCIS), Dr. Ali Mohsin Naqvi; and the Director, Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Center for Entrepreneurship Development (CMACED), Mr. Muneeb Ahmed explored critical facets through their indigenous sessions on themes such as adaptability, character development, and strategic networking in entrepreneurship education.

In the closing ceremony, Chairman of the Sindh Higher Education Commission Prof. Dr. Tariq Rafi commended the APSUP’s collaborative efforts in advancing entrepreneurial education.
IoBM President Talib Karim Syed also expressed gratitude to all participants and praised Superior University’s role in leading this educational mission.
