New York, 28 September 2021 (TDI): Ramtane Lamamra, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria met with Minister of State of United Arab Emirates, Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar. The meeting was held at the sidelines of the session of the United Nations General Assembly, on Monday.
The two leaders exchanged views on the current bilateral relations of UAE and Algeria and ways to strengthen the ties in multiple sectors. Also, the interlocutors pledged to enhance cooperation to maintain healthy ties and brotherly connections, as well as the revitalization of bilateral cooperation mechanisms and the most pressing topics on the session’s agenda, particularly those related to the Arab region’s situation and methods to strengthen United Arab action.
Moreover, discussions were made that the Economic ties between the two countries have continued to develop, and their trade volume has increased since the visit of Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, in 2010 when the UAE Minister of Economy, led a delegation to Algeria.
