Belgrade, 13 October 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Minister of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid met various officials on his visit to Serbia. He is also an elected President of the United Nations General Assembly.

ačić, they discussed wide issues. They discussed an approach towards multilateralism, gender equality, and recovery from Covid.

The President of UNGA also held a meeting with the former President of the UNGA, Vuk Jeremić. Abdulla Shahid was pleased to hear his experiences as the 67th President of UNGA.

Abdulla Shahid also had a meeting with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić. He thanked him for the warm hospitality. He was delighted to note that the priorities of the Non-Aligned Movement aligned with the objectives of the Presidency of UNGA.

Abdulla Shahid hoped that together they can work for diplomacy, multilateralism, and the betterment of the world.
