6th China-Africa Youth Festival begins in Beijing

Beijing, 20 October 2021 (TDI): The 6th China-Africa Youth Festival has started in Beijing, the capital of China. 44 African countries are participating in the 6th China-Africa youth festival. Over the years, China has been actively engaging the African Nations.

The youth of 44 African nations will interact with the youth of China. They will share ideas. It will help them to enhance their mutual understanding.
The festival started yesterday on 19 October 2021. It will help to strengthen Chinese relations with African nations. Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Deng Li addressed the opening ceremony of the festival through a video link. He emphasized the youth festival. He said the festival will open new channels for cooperation between China and African states.
China-Africa youth festival is the part of Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). It commenced in 2016 and since then it is taking place annually. It is jointly organized by the Chinese Foreign Ministry and China Soong Ching Ling Foundation.
