6th Annual conference of Taihu World Cultural Forum in China

Hefei, 12 October 2021 (TDI): The sixth annual conference of the Taihu World Cultural Forum held in China’s city Bengbu, from 11-13 October.

Participants from over 30 countries attended the conference. The purpose of the conference was negotiations on cultural diversity and the Belt and Road Initiative.

It also included a discussion of the common global challenges. Moreover, the Republic of Azerbaijan was the guest country of honor at the conference.

Wang Chen attended the sixth annual meeting of the Taihu World Cultural Forum and delivered a keynote speech on strengthening exchanges and mutual learning of civilizations as well as promoting the creation of a community that will share a future.

Prodi, an ex-prime minister of Italy, gave a video speech whereas President Aliyev from Azerbaijan, President Radev of Bulgaria, King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia, all sent congratulatory messages to the forum.

Wang Chen believed that the long River is a convergence among civilizations and that all of humanity is in the same place. China proposes “One Belt, One Road” to help people face the challenges and build a better tomorrow.

China is now open to working with the international community to overcome challenges and foster a society with a shared future.

He claimed that China founded the Taihu World Cultural Forum in order to foster international cultural cooperation.

It is crucial to promote harmonious coexistence and to play a significant role in the promotion of mutual learning and understanding between civilizations.

Wang Chen presented five key points in his speech. He recommended that we insist on extensive consultation, joint involvement and that we reject isolation and self-reliance and should respect and learn from each other.
