# 3rd Session of Pakistan-Uzbekistan BPC Explores New Avenues for Cooperation

**Tashkent, (TDI):** The third session of Pakistan-Uzbekistan Bilateral Political Consultations (BPC) took place in Tashkent, further reinforcing the growing partnership between the two nations.

Pakistan’s delegation was led by Additional Foreign Secretary for Afghanistan & West Asia, Syed Ali Asad Gillani, while Uzbekistan’s First Deputy Foreign Minister, Bakhromjon Juraboyevich Aloyev, headed the Uzbek delegation.

Discussions covered a broad spectrum of bilateral relations, identifying new avenues for cooperation in political, economic, and investment sectors, as well as in connectivity, education, and people-to-people exchanges.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the positive momentum in bilateral ties and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the fraternal relationship, with a shared vision of transforming it into a multifaceted and mutually beneficial partnership.

In addition to co-chairing the BPC session, the Additional Foreign Secretary also engaged in meetings with officials from Uzbekistan’s Ministries of Investment, Industry & Trade, and Transport to explore further opportunities for collaboration.
