Mr. Muhammad Asif Noor is Editor/Publisher of The Diplomatic Insight. Asif is Researcher, Analyst, Social Activist, Writer, Publisher, Media Planner and Diplomatic Relations Professional. He has Masters Degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from Quaid-I-Azam University and another M.A in Pakistan Affairs and Diploma in Peace & Futuristic Studies. He is heading different organizations like Community Support Programme (CSP). CSP takes bold initiatives in order to create awareness about the socio-economic and political conditions in the country at grass root level thus to strive for peace in the society through adopting a participatory approach, believing in the importance of community and self-help. He is also Chief Organizer Quaid-I-Azam University Alumni Association. He is the board member Liberal Forum Pakistan and member Advisory Council, The Orchestra, Police School of Music and Arts. The Orchestra, Police School of Music and Arts, is a Community Welfare Project of Islamabad Capital Territory Police.
Ms Farhat Asif is working as Editor for The Diplomatic Insight. She is Researcher, Analyst, Writer, Publisher, Media Planner and Diplomatic Relations Professional. She is co-founder of the magazine The Diplomatic Insight. Her areas of interests are is Peace, Conflict and Development Studies. She holds Masters in International Relations and Mphil in Defence and Strategic Studies from Quaid-I-Azam University. Her Mphil dissertation was on “Pakistan’s relations with Central Asian States in Post Cold War Era”. She is federal member of Aman-o-Nisa: Pakistan Women’s Coalition Against Extremism. She is Pakistan’s representative of “Sisters Against Violent Extremism (SAVE), a project by Women Without Borders. Farhat has represented Pakistan on International Forums by presenting papers and contributing for various magazines.
Ms Laiba Yousafzai has M.A Journalism and MA English Literature & Language from University of Peshawar. She has an extensive background of print and electronic media where she worked as Programme Director, producer, scriptwriter and anchor with different National and International TV Channels including Current Affairs, Parliamentary News, Khost based local TV namely Ghorghst TV, Zuban-e-Khalq and Nan Saba on PTV Channels. During this period, she continued to produce and directed about 350 programmes on various subject like social issues, literature, political and social discussion. More significantly, she has presented documentaries on Kalash and Ghandara Civilization in three languages i.e. Urdu, Pushtu and English. While working for Community Infrastructure Project( CIP) she was engaged in 13 documentaries. She has also worked for Radio Pakistan, Radio Mashal, Free Europe, Pushtu Radio “ Buraq” and also worked with BBC during Floods in Pakistan as an anchor and editor.
